We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users—including job seekers ("Candidates"), employers ("Recruiters"), and visitors.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and disclose your information across the Maanthan Platform. By using our services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

To provide our specialized talent services, we collect several categories of information:

• Identity & Contact Data: Name, email, phone number, and physical address.
• Professional Profile: Curriculum Vitae (CV), educational qualifications, work experience, skills, and salary expectations.
• Verification Data: Documents for background checks, including government IDs (where legally permitted), academic transcripts, and employment certificates.
• AI & Assessment Data: Performance results from skills assessments and metadata generated by our proprietary AI to calculate your "Integrity Score."
• Blockchain Identifiers: Public wallet addresses or decentralized identifiers (DIDs) used for anchoring verified credentials on the ledger.
• Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, device IDs, and "clickstream" data (the path you take through our Platform).

We process your data to facilitate the recruitment lifecycle and verify professional integrity:

• Job Matching: Using automated algorithms to match Candidate profiles with relevant Recruiter requirements.
• Integrity Verification: Analyzing provided documents and assessment data to assign "Verified" status to professional profiles.
• Communication: Sending job alerts, interview invitations, newsletters, and platform updates.
• Platform Improvement: Analyzing user behavior to troubleshoot technical issues and enhance the user interface.

Maanthan provides you with granular control over who accesses your professional data:

• Searchable Profiles: Your profile is visible to registered Recruiters in our database who are seeking talent with your specific skill set.
• Anonymous / Private Mode: You may choose to hide your identity and contact details. Recruiters will see your skills and "Integrity Score" but must request explicit permission to view your name and contact info.
• Application-Based Disclosure: When you explicitly apply for a job, your full profile and CV are shared directly with that specific Recruiter or Employer.

We do not sell your personal data to third-party marketers. Sharing is limited to:

• Recruiters & Clients: To facilitate hiring. Once shared, your data is also subject to the Recruiter's own privacy and data handling policies.
• Third-Party Verifiers: Trusted agencies that assist in verifying your background, education, or professional records.
• Service Providers: Cloud hosting partners, payment gateways, and technical service providers under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Compliance: If required by law, court order, or government authority to protect the rights and safety of Maanthan or its users.

To protect our Candidates, all Recruiters and Employers on the Maanthan Platform are contractually bound to:

• Use Candidate data strictly for recruitment and hiring purposes.
• Maintain appropriate security measures to protect any downloaded CVs or profile data.
• Comply with all applicable data protection and labor laws.

Maanthan reserves the right to terminate or block any Recruiter account found misusing data or mining information for unauthorized purposes.

We use cookies to enhance your experience, remember your login sessions, and save your preferences. You can manage or disable cookie settings in your browser; however, some features of the Maanthan Platform may not function correctly if cookies are fully disabled.

• Security: We utilize industry-standard encryption protocols and secure cloud infrastructure to protect data during transit and at rest.
• Retention: We retain your profile data as long as your account remains active. If you request Account Deletion, we will anonymize or delete your personal data within 30 days, except for data we are legally required to archive (such as financial transaction records).

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:

• Right to Access: Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Correction: Update or complete any inaccurate professional, educational, or identity data.
• Right to Erasure: Request the permanent deletion of your account and personal information.
